Rain-A-Way Exteriors is certified with GenFlex Roofing Systems for EPDM and TPO roof systems. We are also certified with Certainteed for modified asphalt roof systems.
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) in standard black 60 mil is the most popular product, but TPO in White is becoming much more popular. TPO and smooth modified asphalt with an aluminum coating is more grease resistant than EPDM for restaurant use.
Rain-A-Way Exteriors is the preferred roofing contractor for area Arby’s Restaurants. The preferred roof system for this type of commercial application is a 2 ply Certainteed torch applied smooth modified asphalt roof system which then receives a coating of Karnac 97 aluminum fibered coating; this has proven to be long lasting high quality roof system. This system comes with a 12-year warranty, but many of the roofs are still looking good after 30 years!
Common warranties for commercial roofing are 10, 12, 15, & 20 year warranties.
Certainteed also offers Flintlastic self-adhered granulated roof systems which are available in colors to match their Landmark Series dimensional shingles and are many times used on a low-sloped porch or dormer roof where a matching color to the main shingles roof is desired.
